Help us reach our goal of raising $25,000!

Since 1974, Friendship, Inc. has been serving adults and children who are developmentally and physically challenged. We are recognized as a leader in our industry. The people we serve live  in small group homes or apartment settings, allowing for individualized attention and support.  We are committed to the people we serve.  This commitment challenges us to raise funds to not only sustain our outstanding supports, but to provide creative and innovative programs and services.

Friendship seeks to bridge where government-funded programs leave off and “living life” begins for the people we support. We rely on the generosity of businesses and individuals to help the people we serve achieve independence and realize their dreams.

By participating in this tournament as a golfer, sponsor or both – you will be allowing our friends with disabilities to live full, dignified, meaningful lives!

13th Annual Friendship Golf Tournament Recap

    13th Annual Friendship Golf Tournament – August 2, 2010

Friendship. Inc’s 13th Annual Golf Tournament, held on August 2 was a day to remember! Thank you to all area businesses and golf participants that contributed to the day’s success. We raised mission awareness and funding for Friendship. Inc. Money raised at the 2010 Golf Tournament will go directly to the people we support with developmental disabilities. It will be used to help provide clothing, furniture, rent assistance, equipment and miscellaneous items that will assist in reaching their goals and dreams.

We are so grateful to our many sponsors. We had 3 GOLD ($1,000), 3 SILVER ($500), 4 BRONZE ($250) and 28 HOLE ($100). Totaling $8,300 in sponsorships! A big thank you to our marvelous golf committee: Bruce Froseth, Tom Schmidt, Jeff Pederson, Don Bankers, Kristine Christensen, Dave Odegaard and Michelle Jimenez for their hard work organizing the event. The start of the day was humid and overcast with threat of showers. By mid afternoon, the sun was shining and participants had a fabulous day (though HOT) of golf and fellowship. We also had a fabulous group of volunteers from Friendship that worked the tournament – our
thanks to: Marie Aguilar, Jayne Cote, Judy Crews, Trisha Hickey, Renae Howe, Kristi Hudson, Michelle Jimenez, Rendina Johnson, Dori Leslie, Beth Maesse, Susan Olson, Jon Opgrand, Dave Stelton and Paula Storm.
