He had made his First Communion
on April 9, 2000 but had not been confirmed. Rendina J. asked
Helaine if he could be confirmed. Helaine contacted his volunteer,
Cheryl J. Cheryl contacted the pastor at Sts. Anne & Joachim
and arrangements were made that Corrie would be part of the group
of adults being confirmed at the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April
14th. Cheryl was proud and happy to be Corrie's sponsor. Cheryl
has been a volunteer for Corrie since the summer of 1999. Corrie
loves church and is an inspiration to all as he attends. He loves
the music and seems to simply absorb it as he listens. So many
people at Sts. Anne & Joachim know Corrie and reach out to
greet him in some way as he comes and goes to attend church. A
big thank you to Rendina, Gabbie and Cheryl and all who made this
event possible for Corrie.
